I had the sld welded up and 3.6 gears. The upgraded billet side cover will be purchased when I get it back from the shop. Don't want this to happen again and the tires are not coming off, for now anyways.

Here is my rear diff that grenaded on me a couple weeks ago. These covers are very weak. I've talked to several people that have had this same problem. They hold up in stock form, but when you weld up the sld and install bigger tires, they just can't take it. I also have upgraded to 3.6 gears in my tcat. An Arctic Cat dealer called Steel Horses makes there on cover that is made of billet. Not only is it stronger it's pretty. I'll throw up a picture of it too. Right now my cat is at the dealer. I'm trying to get warranty to cover it.
